Great That Desert, Rajasthan, India
A camel driver that I photographed in the Great Thar Desert in western Rajasthan, India. The desert is a great place to spend the night sleeping under the stars. Absolutely quiet except for nature and as many stars as you wish to see.

The Potter.
The lighting in the morning was perfect for the shot. The sun was rising and lending a soft light into this somewhat dark room – enough to light up the potter and his beautiful work behind him. The room was extremely tidy for a workshop and the finished pots meticulously arranged, each made so beautifully. This was photographed about a 45 minutes drive away from the town of Chandelao. It’s not even a village but a few houses out in the desert where this potter and his family lived. Chandelao is a village 90 minutes east of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.
